Fillmore County SWCD is proud to enter our 29th year of annual Tree Sales, helping landowners, homeowners, and conservation-minded residents plant for the future. Each year, we distribute approximately 10,000 trees throughout the county.
We offer a wide selection of species to fit your planting goals:
- Deciduous trees available as bareroot stock
- Coniferous trees available in both bareroot and potted stock
- Bareroot trees are sold in bundles of 25
To support successful planting projects, we also provide:
- Bee Mix, Wildflower, and Pollinator Seed mixes
- Tree mats and fertilizer packets
- DIY Rain Barrel kits
Ordering early is encouraged, as supplies may be limited and early sales help ensure availability.
Supporting Local Students
Our outreach program contin ues to make a lasting impact on Fillmore County’s fifth graders.
- Last year, we delivered 300 Red Pines to students.
- This year, each student will receive a Red Maple to plant at home, on a family farm, or in another meaningful place.
We regularly receive letters from students sharing updates on how their trees have grown, proof that these small seedlings create big connections to conservation.
