Fillmore County Board Meeting Summary of Minutes, 5-11-21
Fillmore County Board of Commissioners met in regular session, Courthouse, Preston. Present: All members, Administrator/Clerk, other staff, citizens, and the press.
Board approved:
• Agenda, amended agenda, & consent agenda
• (05/06/21) Commissioner Warrants total:$58,640.72
o Chinmoy Gulrajani, MBBS, MD, DFAPA$3,750.00
• (05/05/21) Finance Warrants total: $392,937.83

Laura Christenson, SWCD:
• A presentation was given on One Watershed, One Plan.
Andrew Hatzenbihler, Solid Waste:
• Board unanimously approved the request to consider agreement with Dynamic
Lifecycle Innovations for E-waste Recycling.
Ron Gregg, Highway Engineer and Brent Kohn, Highway Maintenance Supervisor:
• It was consensus of the Board to bring back the request to proceed with Fuel Tank
Repair needs at the Highway Department Office location. The Board requested the
Fillmore County Livestock Pass Policy be brought back for further discussion.
Kristina Kohn, Human Resources:
• Board approved the second reading as the final version of the Conferences &
Seminars policy.
• Board approved the second reading as the final of the General Provisions policy.
• Board approved the second reading as the final version of the Discipline policy.
• Board approved the request to hire Bryant Bollman, Grade 3/Step 1, at $13.25 per
hour as summer help for Sanitation/Building Maintenance department effective
5/12/2021.
• Board approved the resignation of Blake Lea, Feedlot Officer/Zoning Technician/GIS,
effective 5/21/21, and thanked him for his 1 year of service.
• The Board Chair requested Commissioner Bakke and Commissioner Lentz work with
Zoning Administrator Adkins regarding options for the Feedlot Officer/Zoning
Technician/GIS position.
• A motion was made to close advertising for the Auditor/Treasurer position. The
motion prevailed.
• A motion was made to hire an additional Accounting Technician from current hire
process. The motion prevailed.
