Emily Rose Swartzentruber, infant daughter of Andy and Anna of Mabel, died Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.
Emily Rose was born in Mabel on September 20 to Andy and Anna (Slabaugh) Swartzentruber, and a sister to Aaron, Elmer, Saloma, Susie, Herman, Katie, Marie, and Paul Amos.
She was preceded in death by both grandfathers and three cousins.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the First Baptist Church in Preston. Burial will be in the Mabel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. The Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel is assisting the family.
