Deborah Kay Sheldon, age 67, of Spring Valley, Minn., passed away July 15, 2024, at her home after a hard battle with cancer. Deb was born in Rochester, Minn., on November 28, 1956, to Herb and Idell (Prouty) Parker. Deb married Charlie Sheldon of Spring Valley, Minn., on March 23, 1985. She worked at St. Marys hospital for 37 years, starting in housekeeping and with hard work and diligence she retired as a research coordinator. Deb enjoyed spending time outside tending flowers, having fires, and taking rides through the woods in the side-by-side. She also enjoyed spending time with family, playing with her dog, and she loved being a grandma. Deb was known among family and friends for her contagious laughter, wild spirit, and huge heart.
Deb is survived by her husband Charlie, their daughter Kristin Sheldon of Racine, Minn., granddaughter Braelyn, sister Cindy (Tom) Novotne of Rochester, Minn., and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other close family.
Deb was preceded in death by her mother, father, and her brother Charlie.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Seasons Hospice for their support and care in Deb’s final days. A celebration of life will be held at Steve and Brenda Sheldon’s home at 11806 Rambling Dr. Spring Valley, Minn., on August 24, from 2-5 p.m.

You all do not know me but I worked with Deb Sheldon for many years I was a surgeon at Mayo my h re art fries out to you and all the family. Deb was a bright light on the floor alays( and I mean ALWAYS) happy
