David Wojahn

May 18, 2022 by Fillmore County Journal

David Wojahn obituary, Fillmore County Journal

David Wojahn, 38, of Rushford, Minn., died on Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Winona, Minn.

David was born on August 20, 1983, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Allan and Carmen (Schaefer) Wojahn. David grew up in Houston, Minn., and was a 2002 graduate of Houston High School. He married Haley Kreidermacher on July 23, 2011, at Windom Park in Winona.

David worked for Hal Leonard as a machine operator for many years. David loved gaming and superhero movies. He was a very hard worker who gave whatever he did 100% of his effort. David was also a very proud person who loved to joke around.

He is survived by his wife Haley, two children, Ezra and Gabriel Wojahn of Rushford; parents Allan and Carmen Wojahn of Houston, Minn.; and three siblings: Nick (Jessica) Wojahn of Lewiston, Minn., Sandra Wojahn of Spring Grove, Minn., and Scott (Glenda) Wojahn of Caledonia, Minn.

David was preceded in death by his grandparents Elmo and Avis Wojahn and Gunter and Irmgarde Schaefer, and brother-in-law Michael Ellingson.

There will be a memorial service for David at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Houston Baptist Church in Houston. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. In the words of Tony Stark, “I love you 3000.” Hoff Funeral Home – Rushford is assisting the family with arrangements.
