Sending sympathy to David’s family from the Francis Byron Hudson branch of the family. I was alerted to David’s sad passing by Jon Little, another cousin. I briefly worked with David many years ago when a Canadian cousin/researcher began communicating. David’s father once told me that David was “a computer whiz”–that and so much more. I too wish I had known David, but Grandfather Francis Post Hudson moved to Waterloo, Iowa, in 1907, and thus I did not have that opportunity. Nevertheless, together we suffer the loss of a fine family member in spite of physical distance–Virginia Hudson Young of Lee’s Summit, Missouri

My husband Larry Smith was a cousin and Larry passed away on August 25, 2024.. I’m sending our sympathies to his family. We spent many times visiting his parents in Fountain and our kids had great times playing ball in the big front yard and petting the horse. After traveling for 30 years in the Air Force we settled in Warrensburg Missouri.
Thoughts and Prayers,

Pamela J Ruths says
Hello, I’m Pam Ruths, a first cousin of Dave. He and his family visited my home for dinner long ago with his parents and cousin Charlie. He was a great husband and dad. I’m sorry to hear of his passing. He accomplished much in his life. It’s too bad the family lived so far apart so that we could know one another better. May God richly bless his family at this sad time. But as believers, you know you will see him again.
