Danny Lee Daniels

Graveside services for Danny Lee Daniels will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020, at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, Minn., with Pastor Dan Bredberg officiating. Masks are required and social distancing must be followed.

Danny Lee Daniels, formerly of Harmony, Winona and Burnsville, died Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, Minn. He was born July 9, 1958, in Preston, Minn., to Charles and Frances (Elton) Daniels and grew up on their farm near Harmony.  Danny spent several years in the military, serving in Desert Storm.  He was a very friendly and outgoing person who enjoyed working on cars and working on the farm.

He is survived by two children, Jenny Zumach of La Crescent, Minn., and Chris (Susana) Daniels of Rochester, Minn.; three grandchildren: Adrian, Bryce and Evan; four sisters: Rita (Allan) Forde of Mabel, Minn., Mary Jo Lee of Mabel, Minn., Penny Daniels of Oronoco, Minn., and Shelly (Mike) Sexton of Harmony, Minn. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Keith; and a sister, Kaye Laitinen.
