Cross Country (9/7 & 9/9)

LFC’s Issac Snyder competes at the La Crescent cross country invite. The Lanesboro senior was the top Burro guy finisher, as he took eighth overall at the event. Cotter had both the team champions and individual champions.

La Crescent/Hokah “Crazy Buffalo” Invite (Cotter’s boys (25) topped Lake City (60) for first while LFC (91) took fourth of five complete teams. Cotter’s Erik Semling (13:17) topped teammate John Fritts (13:32) and W-K’s Cole Arens (13:37) for the individual title at the 4,000-meter race. LFC’s Isaac Snyder (8th place > 14:04) made the top 10 while Jaxon Huntington (20th place > 15:46) made the top 20 of 58 total runners. Cotter (24) also topped Lake City (45) for the girls title with LFC (73) taking third (of five compete teams). Rambler Sonja Semling (16:03) took first over Lake City’s Olivia Yotter (16:24) and Cotter’s Hazel Freyre (16:45). LFC’s Lillyan Kiehne (5th place > 17:14) and Charity Kingsley (10th place > 17:42) finished top 10. Burro Grace Kingsley (15th place > 18:18) finished top 15 of 37 total runners at the 4,000-meter race)

Luther College Invite (Bloomington Jefferson (54) topped Liberty (121) for the boys team title. LARPH’s boys (316) took 11th of 32 teams across multiple classes and multiple states. Onalaska’s Manny Putz (15:19.40) topped Minneapolis-Washburn’s Caleb Dickel (15:58.60) for the individual title. LARPH runners Ryan Prinsen (17:17.50) and Wyatt Kreidermacher (17:19) took 37th and 38th of 252 finishing runners. LARPH’s top six all finished in the top 100. Dubuque Senior (79) topped Prior Lake (92) for the girls team title. LARPH’s girls took 32nd of 32. Dubuque-Hempstead’s Keelee Leitzen (18:24.7) took first over Burnsville’s Carley LaMotte (18:34.80). Each 5,000-meter race was run at Decorah’s Luther College)
