Stewartville Bill Glomski Meet (Each race was just 3,200-meters per a warm and humid day.  Cotter/Hope Lutheran’s boys (54) topped RAACHE (89) and St. Charles (132).  Chatfield (226) took ninth, L/FC (320) 12th, and GMLOS (330) 13th of 17 complete teams.  Cotter/HL freshman Erik Semling (10:17.2) was individual champ over Simley’s Niklas Abrahamson (10:34.6).  The Ramblers had three in the top five.  Ryan Littlefield (10:38.6) also took third, Kellen Groth (10:58) fifth.  GMLOS’ Carter Glynn (11:41.8) was the top Journal-covered runner, as he took 11th place.  L/FC’s top runner was Riley Grant (12:13.7) in 25th place.  Chatfield’s Ben Peeters (12:25) and Maddex Lanning (12:29.3) finished 35th and 38th in a race with 132 runners.  Cotter/Hope Lutheran (66) also won the girls race with Waseca (81) taking second and Stewartville (122) third.   L/FC (205) took eighth, Chatfield (285) 12th, GMLOS (309) 13th, and Kingsland (400) 16th of 18 completes team.  C/HL’s Sonja Semling (12:22.6) was the individual champion over L/FC’s Autumn Rakosnik (12:33.4) and Chatfield’s Lexi Kivimagi (13:09.2), who took second and third.  Semling led last year’s 1A Meet over Kivimagi and Rakosnik before over-heating late and not being able to finish.  LFC twin sisters Charity Kingsley (14:26.9) and Grace Kingsley (14:53.5) took 27th and 37th places.  GMLOS’ top runner was Naomi Warmka (14:56.7) in 38th place.  One-hundred-thirty-three athletes competed at Bear Cave Park outside Stewartville in the 51st running of the event)
