Fillmore County Journal Cute Pets Contest

On Monday, April 14, 2025, the Fillmore County Journal will publish a special section titled “Fillmore County Journal Cute Pets,” celebrating the excitement and energy sparked by the pets in the area. Anyone can visit this page to vote just for fun. Winners will be announced in an upcoming edition of the Fillmore County Journal.

The deadline for submitting photos is noon on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

This section will recognize all of our pets in Fillmore and Houston counties with pictures for anyone who submits a photo for publication. In addition, we will be conducting a drawing to support local businesses – a $50, $25 and $10 gift card will be given away for three lucky pets.

Along with photos of the pets, our newspaper will be dedicating content relating to pets.
