Notices and Consent Agenda: Joey Busse completed EMS Field Training Officer Program, Lori McDonald memo on hosting MIF as part of community tour introducing new president; Bluff Country Collaborative student/local businesses at R-P School on 10/9/25; Bluff Country Tri – R-P Scholarship Fundraiser Event August 16th; Approve verified claims; Flyer or Music 2025 Thursdays in August – need to close some streets and some events will be held in parking lot.
Resolution approving Grant-in-Aid program to partner with Valley Crest Riders Snowmobile Club and State of MN DNR for a five (5) year snowmobile trail program.
Resolution approving Sale of Forfeited Parcel located at 408 S. Maple Street; noting City does not wish to acquire the property and approves the sale at public auction.
Updates: Cross-section work completed on Rush Creek as per COE; North levee wall will have smaller work completed by Public Works and two larger panels repaired by Fowler & Hammer; Creekside park repairs, replacement and painting continues as PWD finds time; new tower tops being built and replaced; Eastern Star work continues; Park & Maple St. intersection excavated to determine parts needed to install manhole in that area; seal coating was done on most recently updated streets providing extended life; underground electric work continues on Industrial Drive and south area; EDA will hold public input session at R=P School in he theatre area from 6-8 p.m. August 27th regarding Co-op site planning; Community Ed looking at adult learning opportunities; current flight instructor at Rushford Airport may be offering student and adult flying lessons; citizen interested in creating disc golf space.
