Consent Agent: verified claims and fund summary report, PWD overtime/banked hours report; financial statement, Police Rev/Exp Report and August activity report, utility recap report, approve Proclamation for MN Manufacturing Week honoring area businesses, approve Resolution for Micro Grant for Rushford Festivities Group for Arts & Crafts Fair, annual review and approval of the Snow Removal Policy.
Notices included RPVCC newsletter and RCF flyer regarding membership, highlighting City projects
Public hearing held for Trunk Highway 30 Street & Utility Improvement project; heard from residents, PowerPoint from Derek Olinger, Bolton & Menk, review entire project work to be done, timeline, coordination with MDOT, special assessment calculation process. Adopt Resolution Ordering Improvement Preparation of Plans as project is necessary, cost-effective and feasible, engineer to prepare plans and specifications.
Accept recommendation from Board of Zoning Appeals to grant variance to Scott & Diane Hovland to construct new house and workshop with less than required setbacks for a corner lot.
Approved Resolution acknowledging donation from Compeer Financial Fund for Rural American for Ambulance Dept. donation toward purchase of power load mechanism.
Cares Act Funds approved for hazard pay to public works, police, ambulance EMT’s, fire fighter/first responders.
