Consent Agenda – verified claims/fund summary report; PWD OT & Banked Hrs., Financial Statement, Police Activity and Rev/Exp report; Utility Funds Recap; State Demographer’s Office annual 2023 Household and Population estimate (1,876 households, 738 population); New state statute to grant earned sick and safe time to part-time employees; Fillmore County notice of reduction in property taxes due to MERC and Dept of Revenue reduction; Attorney Luhmann appointed as Winona County Judge in July; police dept. needs new prosecuting attorney.
Approve low estimate for re-roofing fire, police, ambulance building $45,150.00 Dan Slabaugh Construction; split costs.
Updates: Rushford Entrance sign completed with back rocks to be cemented in yet. Susan Hart Memorial Gazebo Dedication – very nice presentation, very nice turn out.
Lots of lawn mowing, tree trimming, levee weed spraying, bathroom repair on bluff and typical spring park spruce-up. WWTP aerator bearing replaced; exploring new humidifier for WTP. Roadway/alleyway behind fire hall bldg. and Destiny Church asphalt repair completed. Ballfield work continues coordinating with RP School. EDA meeting cancelled for 6/12/24; two members would be absent.
