Consent agenda: verified claims/fund summary report, end June financial report; first half LGA received and first ½ of Small Cities Assistance Program for street work; MnDOT change order on Hwy 30 project for temporary traffic control; report on Community Ed Advisory Committee and upcoming activities; report on Bluff Land Tri upcoming activities.
Resolution on donation from Braden Danielson’s Eagle Scout Project at the Winona Street Park; building horse shoe pits.
Discussion on airport hangar rental for new and old; comparisons with other airports. Decision to charge $125.00 for older hangar plus $5.00 electric; new hangar $150.00 for new hangar plus $5.00 electric, effective January 2025.
Updates: Fire, police, ambulance roofing job complete; next maintenance is painting the building; purchase paint locally; Rushford Entrance sign landscape and drainage work; chip sealing work coming up soon in August; airport hangar progress photos; PWD attended water and sewer school at Legion; Chief Eide working on finding new prosecuting attorney; scoring of 11 applicants for PW position is completed with testing day set up. Oral interviews after combining points; EMR class has 5 students from Pickwick, Nodine and Rushford.
