Closed session held 5:30-6:30 p.m. with EDA members Paulson, Schollmeier and Colbenson to discuss possible purchase of Farmers Win property.
Consent Agenda and notices: verified claims and fund summary report, financial statement, PWD overtime/banked hours report, police revenue/expense report, police activity report, utility fund recap, Hwy 30 project newsletter, RP Valley Chamber updates, Mediacom notice on channel and price changes. Approve Resolution to be sent to elected representatives calling for special session to address bonding bill, tax bill and LGA issues.
City Attorney to complete document for purchase offer to Farmers Win with certain contingencies and terms; draft language to be brought to Council for final review before offer is made.
Derek Olinger, Bolton & Menk, updated on Hwy 30 Reconstruction project; reviewed status of work, timeline of future work, issues requiring change orders and extra work; biggest issue is transite pipe removal/abatement to be completed.
Approved Public Works recommendation to purchase 2008 New Holland tractor for $26,000 and sell #7610 Ford at auction.
