Consent Agent: verified claims and fund summary report, RPVCC 4th quarter activity; review annual recap of Building/Zoning Permits issued 2015-2020 and history report; review of franchise & PEG fees collected to date; renewal of annual agreement with Fillmore County for ambulance service subsidy; renewal of engagement letter with Smith, Schafer & Assoc. for annual audit; approval of revised resolution for residential rehab loan for Johnsons; rehab loan program breakdown. Notices reviewed include SMIF Thank you letter for annual contribution.
Approved Fire Chief Rasmussen’s recommendations for Fire Officers for 2021, for Relief Association officers for 3 year terms, for training, conferences and seminars. Discussed COVID impact on trainings, discussed firemen’s COVID vaccinations. Noted two firemen retiring in 2021, Overland and Dailey. Discussed new command trailer completed; discussed need for new grass rig/rescue unit; authorized purchase up to $25,000.
Approved Memorandum of Understanding with Park Rx America, charitable organization working with the MN DNR on a nation-wide program to provide information on local parks for health care provides to prescribe outdoor time for their patients.
Approve Resolution thanking Lions for $500.00 donation to Public Library for large print books.
Approve Resolutions for renewal of 2 a.m. Liquor Licenses for Kitchens Enterprises, Stumpy’s Restaurant and Shawnee’s to accompany their State application forms.
Review 2020 Lodging Tax Report with comparable years; revenue decreased this year; funds remitted to RPVCC for promotional efforts.
Approve flower basket project, purchase 100 from Roger Colbenson at $36.00; Rushford Lions will provide watering detail again.
Meeting will continue by Zoom at least through February, will review again.
