CITY OF RUSHFORD VILLAGE SUMMARY OF AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 7 MOWING ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY OF RUSHFORD VILLAGE ORDINANCE NO. 7, MOWING ORDINANCE:

The City Council of the City of Rushford Village has amended Ordinance No. 7, Mowing Ordinance, to regulate the proper maintenance and mowing of grasses and weeds in or adjacent to the residential zoned areas of Rushford Village.

The following is a summary of the above stated amendments to the ordinance:

The City of Rushford Village has amended Ordinance No. 7, Mowing Ordinance as follows: Length of grasses and weeds on properties in applicable areas shall be a maximum length of six (6) inches or less; Notice of required mowing shall be complied within a period of seven (7) days of the mailing of said notice; Mowing fees shall be calculated according to the most current City of Rushford Village Pay Rates and Fee Schedule for Man/Machine hours, which is reviewed annually.

A complete copy of Ordinance No. 7, Mowing Ordinance, is available for inspection by any persons during regular office hours at the office of the City Clerk at the Rushford Village City Hall, 43038 State Highway 30, Rushford, Minnesota 55971. Interested Parties can also request a copy by mail or electronic mail.

This Ordinance shall become effective upon publication.

Adopted by the City Council of Rushford Village this 1st day of April , 2025.
