Notice is hereby given, pursuant to MN Statutes 626.8473: Law Enforcement agencies must allow public comment before the purchase of Body Worn Cameras (BWC) and before the implementation of a BWC Program. A Public Hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2025 at the Rushford City Hall, 101 North Mill Street, Rushford, MN 55971
Copies of the proposed Body Worn Camera Policy is available on the City of Rushford website at www.rushford.govoffice.com or a copy may be picked up at City Hall or by calling 507-864-2444.
All interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing. Written comments are also encouraged and will be read aloud at the meeting. Comments may be submitted by personal delivery to City Hall, by U.S. mail to the City Clerk’s Office at PO Box 430, Rushford, MN or via email to the City Clerk at citykaz@goacentek.net. All hard copy or email comments must be received in the manner noted above by 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025 or they will not be considered.
