The meeting was called to order by an electronic group meeting on Zoom.
Notices Review:
• MDOT notice of work between Mabel and Rushford scheduled for 2022
• Notice of cancellation of Local Board of Review for April 27th
• 2019 Improvement Project newsletter for residents
• CARES Provider Relief Grant $5,567.30 form Health/Human Svc. for Ambulance Svc
• CARES funding grant for Airport $20,000. For operational expenses
• Property taxes with County penalty will be abated up to July 15th
• Park playgrounds and restrooms closed to public; port-potty at Creekside
• No tent camping in campground, restroom facility closed
Derek Olinger, Bolton & Menk summarized work completed and to be completed on canoe launch project. Grant is still in place for $99,200.00 for road construction. Wetland delineation study was completed as well as geotechnical soils analysis. Corps of Engineers now requests Section 408 review for cultural resource review, hydraulic flood analysis and seepage analysis. Public works has completed tree removal and site work. Engineering spent to date totals $35,000.00. Work Order now approved for additional $35,000.00 to complete engineering tasks requested and to go through bid opening and construction.
Resolution approved entering into agreement with MDOT for project SP2307-969D, Rushford Landscape Partnership Phase 4 for $8,000.00 for landscape materials along Highway 43.
Resolution acknowledging donation from Jack & Lucy Vaughn of $200.00 for tree planting in Creekside Park.
Resolution acknowledging donation from R-P Community Chest for donation of $606.00 to Rushford Public Library for 2019 and 2020.
Resolution approved authorizing Modification of Flood Recovery Loan Payment Policy to freeze flood loan payments for three months for those who request it.
Review of draft All-Terrain & Utility Task Vehicle Ordinance. Set public hearing for 5/26/20 to receive input and consider adoption of ordinance.
Discussion held on aquatic center and issues regarding opening this summer.
Public Library offering curb-site pickup of products to patrons.
