Ordinance 304: Repeal City Code Chapter 112 Tobacco Regulation
Repeal City Code Tobacco regulation; licensing is regulated by Fillmore County and
State Statute.
Ordinance 305: Amend Ordinance 180 Boards and Commission Economic
Development
Amend language from Commission to Authority. Members shall be of the resident
population or a representative of a business located within city limits.
Ordinance 306: Amend Ordinance 127 Boards and Commission Public Utilities
Amend language to include appointment of members, appointed to 3-year terms.
The City shall own and operate the municipal utilities unless and until two-thirds
vote in a general or special election.
Ordinance 307: Amend Ordinance 236 Boards and Commission Park Board
Remove requirement of an appointed secretary, add language which allows the
board to create and fill officers as deemed appropriate.
Ordinance 308: Amend City Code Chapter 32 Boards and Commission Establishment
of Tree Board
Establishment of the Tree Board of 3 members with the duties to develop and
administer the care, preservation, pruning, replanting, removal and disposal of trees
in public areas.
Ordinance 309: Amend City Code Chapter 32 Boards and Commission Establishment
of Library Board
Establishment of Library Board of 7 members to carry out the powers granted in
accordance with MN Statute and City Ordinance to operate and maintain the public
library.
Ordinance 310: Amend City Code Chapter 32 Boards and Commission Establishment
of Tourism Board
Establishment of Tourism Board of 5 members with the duties of advising and
assisting the City Council on the promotion of the Preston area as a tourist
destination and the utilization of lodging tax proceeds.
Ordinance 311: Planning Commission
Amend language, members shall be of the resident population. Change language
from undue hardship to practical difficulties.
Ordinance 312: Appeal for Variance
Amend ordinance to reflect updated language to practical difficulties.
Ordinance 313: Variance for Subdivision
Amend ordinance to update language to practical difficulties.
Ordinance 314: Height, Area and Yard Regulations for Institute Office Resident District
Amend ordinance to include Height, Area and Yard regulations for the IOR district;
height of 3 stories and 35 feet, minimum lot size of 12,000 sq ft., max lot coverage
of 60%, set-backs as follows: front 20 feet, sides and rear 15 feet, corner 20 feet
and 50 feet from low density residential boundaries.
