On July 14, 2022, the City Council of the City of Peterson approved an Ordinance Regulating Junk Storage and Clutter Within the City of Peterson. The following is a summary of the ordinance, which is available for review in its entirety at City Hall.
No person shall store or collect junk, clutter, debris, automobile parts or furniture outside of their property, other than in a completely enclosed building or structure. Citizens in violation will be given a reasonable amount of time to remedy the violation before enforcement actions are taken.
The motion for the adoption was initiated by Councilmember Boyum, duly seconded by Councilmember Colbenson with the motion carrying unanimously. Whereupon said ordinance was declared duly passed and adopted this 14th day of July, 2022.
