City of Lanesboro Notice of Public Hearing

Municipal Consent – Trunk Highway 250 Road and Utility Improvement Project

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lanesboro City Council will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at Lanesboro City Hall, 202 Parkway Avenue South, Lanesboro, Minnesota, to consider Municipal Consent for the Trunk Highway 250 Road and Utility Improvement Project (S.P. 2319-21).

The public hearing is being conducted pursuant to Minnesota Statutes § 161.164, which requires municipal approval of the final layout via resolution for trunk highway improvements located within a municipality.

At the public hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to be heard regarding the proposed improvements.

The final design layout is available for public inspection during regular business hours at Lanesboro City Hall and at www.lanesboro-mn.gov.

A public open house informational meeting will be held prior to the public hearing on February 18, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lanesboro City Hall. The open house is intended to provide information and answer questions regarding the layout.

A quorum of the City Council may be present at the informational meeting. No formal action will be taken during the open house.

Following the public hearing, the City Council may approve, approve with conditions, or deny Municipal Consent for the project.
