Named after the Chosen Bean Coffeehouse once located on Main Street in Chatfield, the Chosen Bean Concerts Series has garnered a reputation for presenting the best in live original acoustic music performed by regional and national musicians who stretch the gamut from legendary icons to emerging talents. The Series 16th run welcomes the Toronto, Ontario-based folk and blues musician Suzie Vinnick on Saturday, April 13, to the Legion Room at Chatfield Center for the Arts.
Chosen Bean Concerts are presented in Southeast Minnesota’s premier listening room, the American Legion Room at Chatfield Center for the Arts. This listening room is a comfortable 100-person capacity space that feels more like a large living room than a large venue, and one where the audience has an intimate, music-up-close kind of experience.
The night of the show, patrons choose from sitting around the stage within a few feet of the artist, or at tables cabaret-style. Doors open at 6:45, providing time for folks to socialize and visit with fellow concert-goers and enjoy beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks sold by CCA. Complimentary coffee is provided through the generous sponsorship of Chatfield’s Cabin Coffee Company. The concert is set to start at 7:30 and will include two robust 45 minute sets with an intermission in between.
