New Rushford-Peterson Teachers

Rushford-Peterson Schools had five new teachers join the staff this year. In volleyball play off play-in games, 16-seed Hayfield topped 17-seed Kingsland 3-1. Knight Paisley Robinson had 20 digs in defeat. The Knights finish at 4-19. Fifteen-seed Houston beat 18-seed Schaeffer Academy, 3-0. Football: Warriors Dominate to 1AA Finals  Caledonia opened the season with a 21-14 upset loss to Rushford-Peterson. They opened the season 1-2, losing to Triton 13-3 in week three too. At October 27 Fillmore Central School Board meeting, Superintendent Heath Olstad updated the board on the fall sports season. Both the football and volleyball teams received the #1 seed and won their first rounds in playoffs. Winter sports will be starting soon. Cross Country: LFC Girls Win First TRC Crown Since 2016 For the first time since 2016, LFC girls cross country claimed the TRC Meet team title. The Rushford-Peterson School Board approved the creation of two new staff positions at their regular meeting on October 20. The first was a track meet manager position.
