The fairway of hole #6 at Preston Golf Course in Preston, Minn., will require major divot repair after the driver of a box truck hauling Amazon packages lost control while heading eastbound on Highway 16 at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.  There were no injuries reported.  Minnesota State Patrol was on the scene. Chatfield appoints city engineer and planner

Six firms participated in Chatfield’s search process for a city engineer and city planner/zoning administrator. At their August 10 meeting, the Chatfield City Council appointed personnel from the design and consulting firm WiDSETH to fill these positions. Fillmore County approves preliminary document for CARES Act funding
