30-Day No Wake Zone in Place Along the Mississippi River

At its June 25 commission meeting, Houston County Commissioners authorized a temporary 30-day emergency no wake zone on the Mississippi River within the county. Amish Buggy and Vehicle Crash North of Canton

According to Fillmore County Sheriff John DeGeorge, Fillmore County Dispatch received a 911 call of a vehicle vs Amish buggy crash at approximately 3:59 p.m. on June 20.
