Caledonia Warriors

April 8, 2024 by Paul Trende

Head Coaches: Robbie Sobczak (girls), Nathan Wurm (boys).

Where We Left Off in 2023: The Warriors girls (6-2, 7-2) finished second in the TRC-East behind Fillmore Central, and then second to the Falcons at the TRC Meet. They notably made Day 2 of the 1AA Meet, taking fifth. The boys (3-5, 4-6) were just below five-hundred, took ninth at the TRC Meet, and did not make Day 2 of sections.

Outlook: Caledonia’s girls were strong last year, but they graduated their three All-TRC picks in Miranda Schroeder, Elly Milde, and Lexie Hoscheit. The Lady Warriors will have to reboot. Youngsters Hayden Harms (freshman), Jazzlyn Hauser (freshman), and Maggie Herman (freshman) are their three big meet returnees. Harms tied for 12th at the TRC Meet and made Day 2 of the 1AA meet, as did Hauser (both as 8th graders). The guys graduated their top golfer, All-TRC pick Evan Hawkins. Evan Milde (sophomore), Isaac Blocker (senior), Carson Klug (junior), and Dylan Schroeder (junior) are their four retuning guys. The boys did not have a sections Day 2 golfer.
