Head Coach: Chad Augedahl

Where We Left Off in 2023: The Warriors went 7-8 in the TRC and 11-12 overall. They upset 3-seed Chatfield in a 1AA quarter but then fell to Cotter 4-2 and La Crescent/Hokah 5-0 in the sub-sections playoffs.

Seniors: Annah Anderson (RF), Kennedy Hansen (2B), Braelyn Lange (P).

Juniors: None.

Key Returning Underclassmen: Avery Augedahl (Fr. P/SS), Paizley Lange (Fr. 3B), Adrienne Lange (Fr. C), Aubrie Klug (So. OF/SS), Vivian Kittleson (Fr. 2B/SS).

Outlook: The Warriors graduated four key seniors from last year’s squad. Included was their two All-TRC picks, top hitters, Paige Klug (SS >.384 average, six 2B, 14 RBI, 21 R) and Mackenzie Morey (C > .338 average, 14 RBI, 19 R), plus All-TRC HM pick Jenna Mann (.262 average, 14 RBI, 15 R). The top returnee is pitcher Braelyn Lange (87 2/3 IP, 6-8 record, 113 Ks, 54 BBs, 2.23 ERA), who guided the Warriors to their playoff win over Chatfield. She was All-TRC HM. Avery Augedahl (.322 average, 12 RBI, 15 R), Paizley Lange (.297 average, HR, 15 R), Kennedy Hanson (five 2B, 12 RBI), and Annah Anderson (HR, 12 RBI, 9 R) are four other returning regulars. Adrienne Lange (.438 average in 16 at bats) and Aubrie Klug (.353 average in 17 AB) hit well in limited at bats. Pitching continuity should keep the Warriors competitive most games. Lange and A-Augedahl tossed 117 of 144 1/3 total innings last year (149 Ks, 89 BBs, 72 H). But Caledonia is young with 11 of 16 players from the freshman class.
