2023 Season: The Warrior boys were 21st among 68 teams at state after being section runner-up, sub-section champion and third place at the conference meet. Ten athletes qualified for or competed at state, where Tysen Grinde was crowned state High Jump champion while Josh Beardmore was fifth in Long Jump. The boys 4×100 relay (Beardmore, Owen Staggemeyer, Eric Mauss, Jason Schock) earned 9th place medals with Schock replacing injured Eli Staggemeyer. Other state qualifiers were the section runner-up, state 10th place 4×200 team (Mauss, Beardmore, O-Staggemeyer, Gabe Curley), section runner-up Jordan Tornstrom (Discus), section third place Fischer Wait (400) and Ethan Stendel (High Jump). Grinde and Mauss graduated.
Seniors: (Girls) Lexi Schuldt, Campbell Cognac, Maggie Ideker. (Boys) Curley, Schock, Tornstrom, Beardmore, Ethan Crouch, Austin Pronschinske, Mason Schroeder, Landon Frauenkron.
Juniors: (Girls) Sienna Augedahl, Mariah VonArx. (Boys) Wait, Stendel, E-Staggemeyer, O-Staggemeyer, Weston Rask, Tristan Meyer, Sylas Flatin, Isaac Vick.
Key Underclassmen: Nicole Banse (So.), Loisah Gay (So.), Livia Rask (So.), Jessica Stendel (Fr.), Kya Deck (Fr.).
Kids to Watch: Beardmore was the section Long Jump champion, placed third in 100-meter dash while running on the second-place 4×200 team (that matched a section record) and the third-place 4×100 relay. Other returning section qualifiers were Wait (second place 4×200, third 400, third 200), E-Staggemeyer (second 4×200, third 4×100, 100), O-Staggemeyer (second 4×200, eighth 200, third 4×100 third), Tornstrom (second discus), Stendel (fifth high jump), Schock (third 4×100, 100) and Crouch (Shot Put). The 4×100 (Staggemeyer, Staggemeyer, Curley, Beardmore) and 4×200 (Staggemeyer, Staggemeyer, Wait, Beardmore) are the defending TRC champs. Wait is the defending TRC 200 and 400 champ. Nicole Banse qualified for three events at sections, winning fifth place medal in 4×100 and eighth place in the 200-meter dash and running along with Sienna Augedahl on the 4 x200 team.
