The Caledonia/Spring Grove/Houston gymnastics team returns five letter winners from last winter’s squad which was 1-4 in duals and 7-19 including tournament standings. The Warriors placed fourth (among six) at the conference meet and sixth (among eight) at section. There was late momentum with the Cal/SG/Hou team score improving in each of the final six meets. Leadership will come from three seniors: Ayshia Gay, Cameryn Kruse and Kandis Privet. Other key returnees are junior Sabrina Lisota and eighth grader Vivian Kittleson. Freshman Madelyn Foellmi could also be a valuable performer. Third-year head coach Savanna Becker has a roster of 20 gymnasts, grades seven through 12. The 2022-23 season begins with multi-team meet at Byron.
