Brad “Badger” Danielson

October 10, 2017 by Fillmore County Journal

Fillmore County Journal, Brad Danielson obituary

Brad “Badger” Danielson, 43, of Rushford, Minn., died on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at his home following a short battle with cancer.

Bradley Alan Danielson was born on April 1, 1974, in Winona, Minn., to Dennis and Phyllis (Hallum) Danielson. Brad was raised in Rushford, where he lived his entire life. He was a 1992 graduate of Rushford-Peterson High School. In 1999, Brad married Nicole Luhmann. They were later divorced. Brad attended RCTC in Rochester, Winona State University and graduated from meat cutting school in Pipestone, Minn. He worked as a meat cutter at Econo Foods in Winona, Minn., and Preston IGA in Preston, Minn. Brad enjoyed softball, baseball, and following the Chicago Bears and the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed his cats, visiting with friends and most of all spending time and playing catch with his son, Braden.

Brad is survived by his parents, Dennis and Phyllis of Rushford; son, Braden of Rushford; brother, Brian (Sue) Danielson of Rushford and their son, Cole; grandmother, Ione Hallum of Rushford; and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, a grandmother and an aunt.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials.

There will be a celebration of life for Brad from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017, at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in Rushford.

Brad’s family encourages everyone to wear their favorite sports apparel and also to bring a fun written memory about Brad that Braden can keep.

Leave a memory of Brad and sign his online guestbook at www.hofffuneral.com.
