Beverly Wingert

Beverly Wingert, age 93, of Fountain, Minn., died Monday, March 4, 2019, at her home.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Preston United Methodist Church with Rev. Deanna Woodward officiating.  Burial will take place in the spring at the Preston Methodist Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 4-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home Preston, Minn., and will continue an hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.

Beverly Louise Eberhardt was born May 17, 1925, daughter of Alfred and Nettie (Lair) Eberhardt in Albert Lea, Minn.  Beverly graduated from Albert Lea High School and Wells Teacher Training School.  She taught country school for two years.  On July 14, 1946, she married Fidelis Wingert at Pickerel Lake Methodist Church rural Albert Lea.  She was a longtime member of Fountain United Methodist Church in which she was very active.

Beverly is survived by children Nancy of New Albin, Jerry (Shirley) of Preston, Bruce of Fountain, Bill (Janeen) of Preston, and Louise (Joe) Marquardt of Spring Valley; 17 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fidelis “F.J.” on October 1, 2013, a granddaughter, a great-granddaughter, one brother, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, her parents, and father and mother-in-law.

Memorials are preferred to the Preston United Methodist Cemetery and the Fountain Methodist Church.
