I was sad to hear about Bette Mae’s death. I had been trying to reach her by phone for several months. I left her several messages and couldn’t figure out why she never returned my calls. I had no idea that she was ill. I moved to Laughlin Nevada in September. Bette had joined me on several trips to Laughlin in the past few years where we stayed at the Riverside Hotel and Casino. She loved those trips and I sure enjoyed her company. She loved to go to bingo and would often go several times a day. We saw several concerts while there. She met some of my friends and they all loved her too. My deepest sympathy goes out to her sons Ronnie and Cory. She spoke often of all her children and loved them very much. It was hard on her to lose Wayne, Dale and Michelle. I grew up in Whalan and knew Cory and Stacie from church. My mother Ilene Anderson thought so much of Bette also. I will miss her very much. Such sad news to get.
