Audrey Jean Comstock Gardner went to her Heavenly home on March 4, 2023, after a battle with cancer. She was born June 24, 1944, in Caledonia, Minn., to Neil and Marie Comstock.
Audrey had an adventurous spirit and wasn’t afraid to take risks. While raising her three children in Stewartville, Minn., she decided to move across the country to McAllen, Tex. Once there, she flourished in the real estate business. She became a broker and opened her own office. She worked until a few months before her death. She helped hundreds of families find their new homes and enjoyed every aspect of the real estate business.
Audrey was a world traveler. She was very thankful to have been able to travel to many different countries with family and friends. She also traveled extensively in the United States and had many a tale about her road trips.
Audrey loved people. She believed in the good of everyone. She was extremely positive and always encouraging. She had a great sense of humor and definitely lived in her happy place!
Left to cherish her memory are sons Tony (Heidi) and Joe and daughter Jane; grandchildren Heather (Jared), Tanner, Sophia, Dylan, Gabriel, Tayla (Trey), Brandon, Jaycob, Cody, Nia (Matt) and Carter; great-grandchildren Weston, Livia, Easton, Abigail, Julia, Piper, Theo, Collins and CT; sister Judy (Tom) Wiebke and brother Keith (Sandra) Comstock.
She was preceded in death by her parents Neil and Marie, brother-in-law Tom and son-in-law Mike.
