Audrey Drogemuller, age 93, of Fountain, Minn., died Friday, May 10, 2019, at Seasons Hospice in Rochester, Minn.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Fountain Lutheran Church, with Pastor Kerry Eversole officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Preston, Minn. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home Preston and will continue for one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Fountain Lutheran Church or Seasons Hospice House.
Audrey Carol Ann Williams was born February 15, 1926, to Albert and Myrtle (Joseph) Williams in York Township, Fillmore County, Minn. She was a graduate of Preston High School. On December 16, 1946, Audrey was united in marriage to Marcus Drogemuller at German Lutheran Church in Preston, and together they had two daughters, Marcia and Debra. Audrey kept busy as a 4-H leader, was involved with the Fountain Lutheran Church Ladies Aid, and taught Sunday school. She was always putting others before herself. In her free time Audrey liked to read, embroider, cook, and bake, especially goulash and sugar cookies.
Audrey is survived by her daughters Marcia (Joe) Specht and Debra Bjortomt, both of Fountain, Minn., grandchildren Jill (Barry) Shephard of North Carolina, Jeff (Kayia) Grabau of Rochester, Minn., Chad (Andrea) Bjortomt of Lanesboro, Minn., Jada (Adam) Bernau of Wykoff, Minn., Dawn (Nathan) Bernau of Fountain, Minn., William (Belinda) Drogemuller of Chatfield, Minn., Christy Mabe of Chatfield, Minn., Jacob (Denise) Drogemuller of Chatfield, Minn., Jennifer (Chad) Sagdalen of Rochester, Minn., and Jason (Samantha) Drogemuller of Lanesboro, Minn.; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marcus in 2009, sons Robert and Marcus Jr., son-in-law Richard Bjortomt, grandsons Eric Bjortomt and Andrew Drogemuller, four brothers, and a brother and sister in infancy.
