Arlenn H. Hundorf

Arlenn H. Hundorf, 83, of Rushford, Minn., died on Monday, December 12, 2016, at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, Minn.

Arlenn was born on July 2, 1933, in Rushford, Minn., to Palmer and Alice (Jonsgaard) Hundorf. He was raised in Rushford and worked with his father on the family farm until he entered the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On November 18, 1955, he was united in marriage with Kathleen Harding in Minneapolis, Minn. To this union were born six children. They were later divorced. Arlen farmed for many years in the Witoka, Minn., area. He also worked at Lake Center Industries in Winona for over thirty years. On August 20, 1994, Arlenn married Amy Wild. Together they had one child. Amy died in April of 2015.

Arlenn is survived by four daughters: Sandy Hundorf of Kellogg, Minn., Bobbi Rouster of Red Wing, Minn., Colleen (Rob) Studer of Rochester, Minn.; and Joy Hundorf of Rushford; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three siblings: Richard, Larry, and Darrell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Amy; three sisters; three children and by one grandson.

There will be a funeral service for Arlenn at 12 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016, at Hoff Funeral Service in Rushford. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Oak Grove City Cemetery in Rushford, with military honors by the Murphy Johnson American Legion Post of Rushford.
