Andrew C. Davidson, 23, of Austin, Minn., died in a car accident near Harmony, Minn., on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
Andrew Christopher was born September 3, 1993, in St. Peter, Minn. Andrew and his brother Dan were adopted by Joe and Lisa Davidson. They grew up in several communities in Southeastern Minnesota. Andy graduated from Lyle High School and entered the U.S. Army, training to be a battlefield medic, but an injury caused his early discharge.
Andy was an avid fisherman and he also enjoyed longboarding and playing Frisbee golf.
He was preceded in death by his biological mother Tori Rose Grover and his grandparents.
Andy is survived by his daughter Ariana Rose Gusa, mother Lisa Davidson and Joe Tointon, Rochester, Minn.; father and stepmother Joseph and Mary Davidson, Austin, Minn.; brother Daniel Davidson, Austin, Minn.; maternal grandfather Lawerence Wampler, Rochester, Minn.; half siblings Monica (Eric) Pinkava, Albert Lea, Minn., Michelle (Corey) Griggs, Molalla, Oreg., and Alex Wallace, Minneapolis, Minn.; aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19 at Grace Baptist Church, 1700 West Oakland Avenue in Austin, with Pastors Dan Mielke and Devin Larsen officiating. A visitation will be held at the church for one hour before the service on Saturday. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
