Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for Houston Elementary School Safe Entrance Addition will be addressed and delivered to ISD #294 – Houston Public Schools, Attn: Mary Morem, 306 West Elm Street, Houston, MN 55943.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Construction of a safe and secure entrance addition, including additional reception / office space, at the Houston Elementary School located at 310 South Sherman Street, Houston, MN 55943.
BIDDING PROCEDURES:
Bidding Documents including Plans, Specifications and Proposal Forms as prepared by WiDSETH, 7804 Industrial Park Rd S, Baxter, MN 56425, (218) 829-5117, are available in electronic form at no cost. Requests for Bidding Documents may be sent to the Architect’s office by emailing jmasterman@widseth.com. Bidding Documents may also be downloaded from the Minnesota Builders Exchange at https://mbex.org.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bidder’s bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Owner; as provided in the specifications, said check and the amount thereof or the amount of the bidder’s bond to be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bidder furnishing the same neglects or refuses to promptly carry out said bid or enter into contract with ISD #294 – Houston Public Schools.
No bids may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days from the scheduled closing time for receiving bids.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities therein if the lowest bidder fails to meet the Responsible Contractor requirements as set forth in Minnesota State Statute Section 16C.285.
