Absolutely frightening leader conduct…

February 24, 2020 by Fillmore County Journal

Fillmore County Journal - Weekly Newspaper Serving Southeast Minnesota's Bluff Country - Letter to the Editor

To the Editor,

Look at this link: www.cnn.com/2020/02/07/opinions/alexander-vindman-firing-chilling-message-vinograd/index.html

How countries turn from democracies to dictatorships.  Individuals who disagree with the country’s “ruler” are dispatched in some manner.  Think of the number of either Trump campaign members or  members of his staff or personal friends that have been accused or convicted of corrupt practices.  Now think of this absolute lack of any spine.  At least two Republican senators, Senator Susan Collins and Senator Lamar Alexander,  issued a statement that said Trump was guilty of witholding military aid to Ukraine for his own personal gain for his relection as president in 2020.  Also, Trump has not made good on a statement to the Ukraine president that they would have a meeting at the White House. However, neither senator voted to remove him from office.  The only senator on the Republican side voting to remove Trump from office was Senator Mitt Romney.  Also Senator Susan Collins said that Trump had “learned a lesson” on how to behave from the impeachment procedings.  Yes, Trump did learn a lesson.  The lesson he learned is his Cabinet and vice president and Republican senators are so scared of Trump’s attacks and so committed to their own careers rather than country, that Trump will be held in a cushioned container to keep him safe from consequences of the truth.  An absolute Third World country dictator’s method for those who disagree with his actions and make their feelings known.

    If I may,

A link to cnn…., that in of itself is laughable to the point of being stupid. What exactly was POTUS trying to gain in your opinion?? An advantage over sleepy joe? Excuse me but that is the dumbest thing I have heard. My question is at the time of the phone call and as of now, also POTUS has no COMPETITION. Your story sadly falls flat like lil pencil neck did. Your lies are unraveling at the speed of a 24 hr news cycle. But, keep trying, you libtards are so fun to watch.
