Sheri Ann (Albrecht) Ramaker, age 70, of Preston Minnesota, died on September 26, 2026. Sheri was born on December 11, 1955, in Lanesboro, Minnesota, the daughter of Gilbert and Donna Albrecht.
She was raised in the Wykoff area and was a 1974 graduate of Wykoff High School. Sheri married Clair Ramaker at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wykoff on May 24, 1975. They made their home in Preston, where Sheri was employed by KFIL Radio. Sheri and Clair moved to rural Wykoff, where they raised their family.
Sheri was a member of the Wykoff and Kingsland School Boards from 1991 to 2001. She received a recognition award for her dedicated service. Sheri worked at Wykoff High School and Kingsland High School, managing the office as an administrative assistant to the principal. She retired in 2020.
Sheri was a wonderful cook and baker. She also enjoyed gardening and computers. Sheri is survived by Clair, her husband of 51 years; and their three children: son Nathan (Kristina) Ramaker of Stewartville, Minnesota, grandchildren Elise Ramaker and Grace Ramaker (fiancé, Josh Howard); daughter Jill Ramaker of Spring Valley, Minnesota (partner Zak Mcshane); son Brady Ramaker (former daughter-in-law Jessica Right) of St. Paul Minnesota; two sisters, Pat (Mike) Dee of West Concord, Minnesota, and Pam Albrecht of Pine Island, Minnesota; and sister-in-law Deb Albrecht of Fillmore, Minnesota, as well as many extended family members.
Sheri was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Rhonda, brother Gary, and grandson Mason Ramaker.
A Celebration of Life for Sheri will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Wykoff Community Hall at 226 N. Gold St, Wykoff, MN 55990. Burial will be at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Wykoff.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to the National Audubon Society or a charity of your choice.
