Judity Sadler obituary, Fillmore County Journal

Judith Lynn Sadler, age 80, of Spring Valley, Minnesota, and formerly of Great Falls, Montana, died peacefully in her sleep on June 22, 2026 at her home in Spring Valley.

She was born May 23, 1946, to Lester and Mary (Elliott) Hill in Watseka, Illinois. She married William Drefcinski, they moved to California and had one daughter, Kim Marie. They later divorced. Judy then met and married her soulmate, Robert W. Sadler. Over the years they built several successful businesses together in California and later in Montana. Judy loved working side by side with “RW.” She was very detailed and organized and always was busy, she loved being outdoors tending to her flowers and watching the hummingbirds build their nests in her bushes. She loved her Dobermans and was able to make stained glass images of them. She also enjoyed quilting, watching Meerkat Manor and baking and sharing the goodies that she made with those around her.

She is survived by her daughter Kim (Robert) Ullrich of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; sister Darlene Popadak of Spring Valley, Minnesota; a brother, Rich Hill of Watseka, Illinois; niece Karen (Brad) Stephans and great-niece Emily Stephans of Spring Valley, Minnesota; nephew Brian Popadak of Phoenix, Arizona; niece Kathy (Thomas) Graves of Watseka, Illinois; nephew Rod (Brenda) Hill of Louisville, Tennessee; grandchildren Jacqueline (Robert) Rodriguez and Jesse Ammerman.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Sadler, her parents Lester and Mary Hill, her grandparents AW and Ethel Hill and FK and Alpha Elliott, sister-in-law Merry Hill, brother-in-law James Popadak and Nephew Randy Hill.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley is assisting the family.
