The SEC golf meet was all Lanesboro. The boys (340) topped nearest foe Kingsland (349) by nine. GMLO (356), Southland (359), Houston (379) and an incomplete G-E team followed. Burro Jack Brogle (39/37 > 76) was meet medalist over GMLO’s Graham Eastlee (41/39 > 80), Kingsland’s Collin Stuart (41/41 > 82) and Burro Corbin Reinhart (42/43 > 85). Knights Kaaleem Reiland (87) and KD Reiland (87) tied with GMLO’s Lincoln Lunning (87) and Southland’s Alex Whipple (87) for fifth. Burros Jack Lawston (9th-tie, 89), Blake Klaehn (12th, 90), and Ashton Hanson (13th 91) made the top 15, as did GMLO’s Parker Armagost (92), Houston’s Treyton Kubitz (92), and Nolan Nelson (92). All tied for 14th. Thirty-two guys competed. Lanesboro’s girls (394) topped closest foe GMLO (435) by 41 strokes. Southland (456), Kingsland (456), Houston (516) and an incomplete G-E team followed. The Burros got a 10-stroke edge from medalist Addison McCabe (41/37 > 78). GMLO’s Gabby Tangren (43/45 > 88) took second. Burros Jentrey Schreiber (47/48 > 95) and Grace Tufte (46/52 > 98) followed. GMLO’s Madalyn Wytaske (6th place, 108), Kingsland’s Emily Sargent (7th-tie, 110) and Reese Guy (7th-tie, 110) made the top 10. GMLO’s Paisley Kolling (11th, 113), Kingsland’s Meadow Hinze (12th, 116) and Esme Mundfrom (14th-tie, 120) made the top 15. Thirty total girls competed. Each meet was held at the par-72 (guys), par-74 (girls) Cedar River Golf Course in Adams.
