Track and Field: Titles Won at TRC Meet

Chatfield, Caledonia/SG, and RPH track and field teams took on the TRC meet. Each got multiple champions. The Tro-Canes won nine titles. Senior Aubry Boldt (100-hurdles > 15.02; Long Jump > 18 3 1/4”; Triple Jump > 36 0 ¾”) grabbed three, junior Chase Drazkowski two (Shot Put > 57’7”; Discus 138 1 ½”). Isaac Rasmussen (800 > 2:01.25) and Brennan Kunst (1,600 > 4:49.60), Emily Helgemoe (800 > 2:21.15) and Jorja Meyer (Discus > 109’0”) also won events, the latter adding a second (Shot). Caitlin Bauer took second (1,600) and third (800). Hunter Rislov (400), the 4×400 (Rislov, Landon Dahl, Aaron Ploetz, Rasmussen), and 4×800 (Will Jewison, Kunst, Ploetz, Rasmussen) took second. Logan Kinstler had two thirds (Shot, Discus). Boldt tied her own RPH 100-hurdles mark, Helgemoe reset her 800-meter record, while Drazkowski topped Matt Culhane (56’6 ½”) in the Shot.  The Warriors swept the 100-meter races, Coby Hammell (11.04) taking the boys, Finley Wait (12.74) the girls. Wait also won the 400 (1:01.86), took second in the 200. Chatfield’ girls (4:16.37 > Adeline Schild, Adelia Goldsmith, Lexi Kivimagi, Lillie Stejskal) and boys (3:35.60 > Ezra Schild, Maddex Lanning, Kash McBroom, Lane Schmaltz) 4x400s each won. Savannah Peterson won the 200 (25.88), took third in the Long Jump.  Ross Stoehr (2nd High Jump, 3rd 110-hurdles) had two top 3’s.  Schmaltz (P-Vault), the girls 4×100 (Stejskal, Schild, Addison Johnsrud, Peterson), boys 4×200 (Brooks Lea, Schmaltz, McBroom, Logan Pearson), and girls 4×800 (Kivimagi, Kylie Sinn, Autumn Norsten, Makynli Ostby) also took second.  St. Charles (186.5) was boys team champion over Cotter/HL (155) and RPH (128) with Chatfield (78) taking sixth and C/SG tenth (18). In a tight field, PEM’s girls (122.5) topped SC (113) and RPH (104.5) with Chatfield (75) taking 8th and C/SG tenth (58) both of 10.
