Evelyn Elaine Fitzgerald Osland, age 91, died on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Rochester, Minn.
Evelyn was born on July 27, 1934, in Lime Springs, Iowa, to Cecil and Edna (Jensen) Fitzgerald. She attended school in Lime Springs and Chester, graduating from Chester High School in 1952, and later from Hamilton School of Business in Mason City in 1953.
Evelyn began working in 1953 at L.S. Donaldson Company in Rochester, Minn., in the audit department. On October 9, 1954, she married Harold Osland at Chester Methodist Church. She was active in community and church organizations, including Presbyterian Women and the Minnesota Soil and Water Auxiliary, where she served as president and represented Minnesota at a national convention in Reno, Nev.
