Track and Field (3/24 – 3/28)

St. Mary’s Early Red Bird Indoor Meet (R-P/H competed with Winona High, Cotter/Hope Lutheran, Wabasha-Kellogg, Kasson-Mantorville, Triton, Albert Lea, Whitehall, Schaeffer Academy, Hayfield, Independence, Cochrane Fountain City, Lyle/Pacelli and Lake City at a large indoor meet. Aubry Boldt had three first places (55-hurdles > 9.29; Long Jump > 17’7”; Triple Jump > 35’11”) plus a third place (High Jump) to lead the way for RPH’s girls. Emily Helgemoe (800), Jorja Meyer (Shot Put), and Quinn Potter (Pole Vault) took second. Caitlin Bauer took third (1,600) and fifth (800). Hunter Rislov (400 > 54.26), Isaac Rasmussen (800 > 2:09.42), and Chace Drazkowski (Shot Put > 50’8”) took first for RPH’s boys. Rasmussen (1,600), Aaron Ploetz (800) and Will Jewison (3,200) took second. Lucas Redalen (Shot Put) took third.) 

Luther College Indoor Meet #2 (LFCMC and R-P/H competed with Decorah, Charles City, Northwood-Kensett, and Waukon. For LFCMC girls, Grace Kingsley (3,000 > 12:28.72; 800 > 2:50.96) had two first places (the 3,000 of just three competitors) while Charlotte Ferrie took first (Long Jump > 16’1 ¼”) and second (55). Charity Kingsley took second (3,000) and third (800). For LFCMC’s boys, the 4×200 took first (1:38.13 > Adrian Rindels, Parker Krage, Quinci Kaase, Bridon Bahl). Rindels had two seconds (55, High Jump). For R-P/H’s guys, Chace Drazkowski (Shot Put > 54’2”) took first while Brennan Kunst (3,200) took second. For the R-P/H girls, Kendall O’Donnell (High Jump), the 4×800 (Caitlin Bauer, Emily Helgemoe, Norah Meyer, Elaine Grifin) and distance medley (Quinn Potter, Kenley Snyder, E-Helgemoe, Bauer) each took second.) 

University of Minnesota Indoor Showcase (Autumn Rakosnik was LFCMC’s sole entrant, taking fifth in the 1,600 (of 24) and seventh in the 800 (of 49 entrants))
