Chatfield’s Ben Roline takes down Caledonia’s Eli King, though it was the latter who led the #1 Warriors to taking down #6 Chatfield. King accounted for over 300 total yards and all five TDs in a 33-6 Caledonia win.

#1 in AA Chatfield 6 (Chat: S. Backer 27-124 rushing; Carter Daniels 7-yard TD run.  Cal: E. King 15-31, 239 yards, 4 TDs passing, 14-63, TD rushing; Austin Klug 6-123, TD receiving; Isiah Reinhart 3-45, 2 TDs receiving; Colten Welsh 3-48, TD receiving.  Turnovers: Chat 4, Cal 2.  1st Downs: Chat 15, Cal 20.  Warriors led 20-0 at half, all scoring drives coming after converting on fourth down.  Gophers got first downs and had the ball in Warrior territory on eight different possessions, but the red zone just twice (both in second quarter); a first and goal at the two was negated by turnover and a pass to end half made the 1-yard-line as time expired.  Chat is 3-1)

M-C 0, Lanesboro 42 (L: J.T. Rein 14-132, 2 TDs rushing; Jake Gathje 7-89, TD rushing; Seth Semmen 2 TDs rushing, 2-6, 70 yards, INT passing; Orion Sass 5-41, TD rushing; Caden Anderson 2-70 receiving.  M-C: Gavin Johnson 20-64 rushing, 2-13 receiving; Cayden Tollefsrud 12-41 rushing, 1-16 receiving.  Lanesboro scored on their first three possessions (21-0 at halftime) and first two second half possessions (36-0).  Burros had drives of 80, 60, 70, 62, and 89 yards.  The Cougars had a 14-play first half and a 19-play second half drive that made the red zone, but both ended in turnovers.  Burros had four total takeaways.  M-C falls to 1-3)

Lanesboro’s J.T. Rein is chased after by trio of Cougars in including Alex Arneson (closest) and Cayden Tollefsrud (#5), while Burro Carter Clarke (#34) blocks. Keyed by its rushing attack and defense, Lanesboro improved to 3-1 with a 42-0 win.

Cotter 0, FC 35 (FC: A. Sikkink 8-36, 2 TDs rushing, 2-57, TD receiving; Zach Haugerud 5-16, 99 yards, TD passing, 15-60, TD rushing; Carson Kiehne 10-44, TD rushing, 20-yard reception; Trevor Hershberger 2 INTs. Falcons scored on five of their first six possessions to lead 35-0 at intermission.  FC posted eight sacks, led by Jeremy O’Connor, Haven O’Connor, and Gunner Benson who all had 1 ½.  The Falcons were scheduled to play L-A, but the change occurred due to the Cardinals going to distance learning.  FC picks up first win, is 1-3) 

R-P 20, Goodhue 26 in OT (RP: M. Bunke 13-29, 150, 2 TDs passing, 15-114, TD rushing; Kobe Lind 5-93, TD receiving; Alex Ronnenberg 4-23, TD receiving; Justin Ruberg 4-34 receiving.  G: Will Opsahl 17-34, 278 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs passing; Adam Poncelet 8-199, TD receiving.  Game was tied 6-6, 12-12, and 20-20.  Trojans led 20-12 in fourth quarter, but Wildcats scored and got two-point conversion for the tie.  R-P got an interception late, starting in Wildcat territory, but couldn’t score in the final seconds.  Trojans couldn’t score on OT possession.  On 4th and goal, the Wildcats completed a pass, fumbled it into the end zone, and recovered for the OT win.  Trojans are 1-3)
