2021 street & utility improvements in the city of Preston

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE 2021 STREET & UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF PRESTON

Notice is hereby given that the Preston City Council will meet in the Preston Emergency Services Building (Fire Hall – 217 Fillmore St. W) at 6:00 p.m. on July 6, 2020, to consider the making of the 2021 Street & Utility Improvements, an improvement in the Valley Street Area (an area bordered on the west by St. Paul Street, on the North by Valley Street, on the east by Center Street and the South by North Street), Five Points Area (an area including St. Paul Street between Brownsville Street, Fillmore Street and Preston Street, North and Spring Streets between St. Paul Street and St. Anthony Street), Chatfield Avenue from Winona Street to Kansas Street and Park Lane from Fillmore Street to a point 550 feet south pursuant to Minn. Stat. §§ 429.011 to 429.111. The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement is all properties abutting to or gaining access from the aforementioned sections of streets. The estimated cost of the improvement is $3,948,929.29. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvement will be heard at this meeting.
