Welcome to Dairy Night on the Farm

The public is cordially invited to the Mulhern Dairy farm on Saturday, June 13, from 5-8 p.m. for a closer look at life on a working dairy farm in Fillmore County.

Plan to attend this year’s Fillmore County Dairy Night on the Farm, which will bring local families to the Mulhern Dairy farm, located at 25901 County 7, Fountain, Minn., for an evening centered on food, family activities and farm tours.

Farmer and Fillmore County Dairy Association Board Member, Cory Mulhern said that this year marks the third time the Mulhern family has hosted the annual event, which has become a popular community gathering expected to attract an estimated 1,000 people.

Families attending will be able to experience calves, enjoy bounce houses for the children and spend time exploring the farm.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about day-to-day dairy operations by asking questions of dairy industry professionals, including veterinarians and nutrition specialists, as well as Dairy Royalty and Ambassadors. Be sure to stop by the dairy displays to ask questions and pick up brochures and dairy promotional items.

What is a community event without food? Dairy Night on the Farm will feature cheeseburgers, mac and cheese, beans, chips, milk and ice cream. Donations are accepted.

Dairy Night on the Farm is organized by the Fillmore County Dairy Association, a chapter of the American Dairy Association and is held annually to promote the local dairy industry, educate the community about dairy farming practices and celebrate the farmers who produce dairy products.
