To me, this country is ours because of the service men and women who fought for it, whom all gave some, and some gave all for what they believed in and willing to protect that right even if it meant dying for it, and they still did it!
When we were young, like the history our our country, we learned right from wrong, we put our trust in the Lord, we were respectful of others, grateful for what we had.
Chorus: “We grew together, we fought together, we prayed together, we live together and we died together.”
As our country grew, we grew, we worked together, when things got hard, we worked harder, we prayed harder. We shared if we had it to share, even if we didnt’ have it to share! Could often turn something bad into something good. God taught us to believe in ourselves, and trust each other.
Chorus: Repeat.
Today we have politicians trying to tell us what’s right or wrong. The American people know the difference, we’re not stupid. They need to wake up and really see what our country needs, “unity – joined as a whole!” Not diversity “facing both ways” that get them nowhere! They need to join as one, not divided. Move like a platoon of soldiers, to do what they need to do and get the job done! They have to use common sense. The majority of “We The People” know what it takes!
Trust, love, respect, and keep God in our hearts.
