Track and Field: Cal/SG, Chatfield, LFCMC, and RPH Take on Saints Meet

Nine teams including Caledonia/Spring Grove, Chatfield, LFCMC and RPH took on the St. Charles track and field meet. The host guys (209) topped the Tro-Canes (132) followed by Waseca (117), LFCMC (72), Chatfield (58), Lewiston-Altura (54), C/SG (34), and Hayfield (9). St. Charles’ girls (132.5) also topped RPH (111.5) followed by LFCMC (106), Waseca (99.5), L-A (80.5), Chatfield (66), C/SG (47), and Hayfield (42). Maybe the meet’s top performer was RPH’s Aubry Boldt.  She continued her fantastic season by taking first in four events, the 200 (26.92), 100-hurdles (15.48), Long Jump (17’10 ½”), and Triple Jump (37’8 1/2”). She again reset the program mark with the latter. Kyra Kotsmith (800 > 2:30.39) also took first. Jorja Meyer took second (Discus) and third (Shot Put), Caitlin Bauer (800) also third. On the guys’ side, Aaron Ploetz won the 3,200-meters in 9:49.38. He was just back of Tyler Rislov’s program record (9:47.56). Chase Drazkowksi took first (Discus > 138’9”) and third (Shot Put).
